Many people facilitate without even naming it, from classrooms to communities, meetings to movements. This free session gives a grounded introduction to facilitation, helping you make participation and inclusion practical.

💡In this interactive session, we will explore:

  • What facilitation really is (and isn’t)
  • How individuals and group dynamics shape participation and decision-making
  • Simple tools to make meetings and gatherings more inclusive, collaborative and effective

🎯 You’ll leave with:

  • Clearer language for what facilitators actually do
  • 2–3 concrete tools you can apply immediately
  • A sense of how to step more intentionally into a facilitation role

🌿 Who it’s for:
Anyone curious about supporting groups more effectively: whether at work, in learning spaces, or in communities. No prior experience needed.

🧵 Next step:
Try this mini-session, then explore the Introduction to Facilitation Training, the full training, where we go deeper into power, collaboration, inclusion, and real-world facilitation challenges.

🧑‍🏫 Your Host: Marco Minoni

Marco is a facilitator and social activist passionate about building cultures rooted in care, justice, and authentic connection. His work lives at the intersection of inclusion, power-awareness, and embodied facilitation, supporting individuals and groups to show up more fully, collaborate, and work towards collective liberation. Marco is a member of Common Ground, a consulting collective and postgrowth organizing lab, with over a decade of experience with progressive organizational development and commons-based, decentralized, participatory organizing.

"A joy to participate in a workshop facilitated by Marco. Attentive toward group dynamics and process, recognising of individual needs, enabling us/me to show up as our/myself..." - Alex
